This a reposting of a fic I wrote for the LOTR_Community's 'Fix the Movies' challenge, in which you were given a chance to fix a scene from the movies. I chose the scene in ROTK where Frodo tells Sam to go home. Of the scenes in the movie that hit me as wrong both emotionally and logically, this was the one that, imo, most needed fixing. Each writer was given a flower element to include. Mine was 'ground ivy'.

A/N: Ground ivy is known by several other names, including the one I used in the story as sounding most hobbity: ale hoof. I wrote this story as if the events of the movie remain unchanged up until this scene. Some of the dialogue from the movie screenplay and from the book has been incorporated into the story.

This is the drabble meme request fic for claudia603, who wanted romantic Casey/Zeke. I hope this fits the bill, Claudia. It's a sequel of sorts to a fic I wrote called Tilting at Windmills. It's not absolutely necessary to have read that fic to read this, however, as long as you know the basic premise, which is that after graduating high school, Casey and Zeke take to the road as rogue alien killers. You can imagine this Zeke as Sancho Panza to Casey's Quixote, or perhaps Sam to Casey's Frodo. :)

Samfro, your Timestamp Meme request hasn't been forgotten. It looks like it will be a longish (possible multi-chapter) story and one of the more challenging that I've attempted. I want to go slowly and hopefully do it justice. So please be patient!

Letters to Christine hasn't been abandoned everyone, I swear! I am by nature a stubborn Baggins, and I will finish it. I have a prompt to write a LtC drabble, and I'm hoping that will be the good swift kick in the bum that I need to get it going again!!

Right now I wish I had 10 pairs of hands so I could work on all your drabble requests at once. You guys give awesome prompts! The ideas are oozing out of my brain, lol!!
